About the miniatures
The tools are well made and surprisingly comfortable, a good choice for delicate projects or where full-size tools would be awkward. The planes, scraper and spokeshave have investment-cast stainless-steel bodies. The planes and spokeshave have A2 blades, the scraper a spring-steel blade, and the chisels are PM-V11.
The router plane blade can be set inboard for normal use or outboard for work right into corners, and is ideal for hardware installation, inlay and intarsia. The shoulder, bench, block and edge planes are useful for fine trimming. The edge plane handles stock up to 3/8" thick, and the shoulder plane is also good for cleaning the bottom of narrow dadoes.
