Why are Lie-Nielsen products often out of stock?
Lie-Nielsen decides what is delivered to us. They send what they can, not very often to Europe, and they also make tools for their own customers. When a shipment does arrive, it often sells out quickly.
More expensive models, such as the Lie-Nielsen No. 8 jointer plane, are only brought in to order, so there may be a waiting time.
