Tormek has developed its water-cooled sharpening system for over 40 years. The stone turns slowly in water so the steel never overheats, and the jigs let you sharpen knives, chisels, turning tools and plane blades at an exact angle.
T-4 or T-8
The Tormek T-8 has a 250 mm (10") grindstone and a more powerful motor, so it removes steel and reshapes edges faster. The compact T-4 has a 200 mm (8") stone. Both come with the Tormek Original Grindstone and use the same jigs and accessories.
