To get the highest possible sharpness on your edge tool, finish the sharpening by honing on the leather honing wheel.
The leather is provided by the tannery Tärnsjö Garveri in Sweden, which has tanned and processed leather for over 140 years and is today one of the few tanneries that tan their leather completely with natural products.
There are several good ways to sharpen chisels and plane irons: water stones, diamond stones, oil stones and sharpening machines such as Tormek. All give sharp edges, but they differ in speed, maintenance and price.
