The Sterling Dovetail Ruler (DTR-1) is a tapered rule for laying out dovetails, for those who already own a 6" Starrett combination square or another popular 4" double square. It has been tried with a handful of other makers' 6" combination squares, such as Starrett, Goodell-Pratt, Brown & Sharpe and Lee Valley, and clamped perfectly in both vintage and contemporary squares, but it cannot be guaranteed to fit all squares.
