With the Bridge City TM-1 Tenonmaker you eliminate trial and error when making tenons to fit your mortise. The mortise and tenon is one of the strongest wood joints, and a precise fit is essential for a strong, durable joint.
Like the KM-1 Kerfmaker, the TM-1 is basically a flip stop that lets you calibrate your saw blade and the width of the mortise, so you can quickly cut precise tenon cheeks up to 2" wide on the first attempt. You choose a friction fit or a slip fit when calibrating to the mortise: with the TM-1 in the mortise, turn the workpiece upside down. If the TM-1 stays in place you get a friction fit; loosen it slightly so it falls out and you get a slip fit.
Products that make the parcel longer than 120 cm count as bulky, for example long saws, planes, rules and clamps. Such parcels sometimes need special handling by the carriers.
