Veritas dowel former for making dowels of any length you need. Drive an oversize piece of wood through the sharp-edged hole of the solid A2 tool steel insert to shear off excess material. The 3" diameter mounting plate can be used over a 3/4" or 20 mm dog hole and has two screw holes for permanent mounting; the interchangeable inserts snap in securely.

6, 8, 10 and 12 mm inserts

Individual inserts and the mounting plate are also sold separately; the plate fits all metric and imperial sizes. Made in Canada.
