JessEm makes two types of dowelling jig:
The black one – first buy the dowelling jig with body and 8 mm kit, which includes the body and reference square. You can then add kits for 6, 10 and 12 mm.
The stainless steel one – each size is complete on its own, so you can buy the size you need. The hobby kit has one base and several sizes, and the pro kit has all sizes complete with their own base.
The 45° accessory for the stainless steel jig can be bought later. The stainless steel jig comes in an inch version (08359) and a metric version (08379). A guide pin is included with each size, but not a drill bit. To centre holes in 15 mm stock, put a 1 mm spacer against the fence.
