In February 2022 we placed an order with Incra for pretty much their entire range. We thought then that they would perhaps ship it as 2-3 different deliveries over a certain period. But that was not how it went; it took about 15 months, and when they finally ship, everything we ordered is shipped. So this Tuesday (13/6) 5 pallets and a number of loose cartons will land (according to the latest info) on our loading dock. We don't really know where we are going to put it, it is so full in the shop right now, but that is only a pleasant problem, because we have got Incra home! And that means we can send it to you. So this newsletter is largely about what Incra has sent us.
If you want the highest quality and highest precision at your saw or table-mounted router, then Incra's LS is what you should have. It is built on different parts that you buy and can put together in different ways. The foundation is the INCRA LS Positioner. It comes in three lengths, 17", 25" and 32" (432mm, 635mm and 810mm respectively). 17" and 25" are used for the router tables and (25") and 32" are used for the saw tables. It sets the distance by which you move the fence from the router bit and saw blade. It has an accuracy of 0.05mm. You can move it by 0.025mm as the smallest measure. It locks on even 1mm steps, and then you fine-tune it if you want measurements smaller than that. The picture below shows the 17" and 25" versions. The film below shows the basics of the INCRA LS Positioner.
Watch the video on YouTube Do you want it for your router table or for your saw, or for both at once? Only you can answer that, but Incra has the solution for it. For the router table there are the M-LS17SYS and M-LS25SYS. If you search online they are probably called LS17SYS and LS25SYS; the M- is the metric version and those are the ones we have. All the versions are named that way, so from now on I will write the model number that we have.
If you have the M-LS17, M-LS17SYS, M-LS25 or M-LS25SYS you can buy the Incra Wonder Fence (M-Wonderfence37). It gives the LS Positioner a split fence and many other functions.
If you want the Wonder Fence functions but have nothing from before, the models are called M-LS17WFNCSYS and M-LS25WFNCSYS. There you have a complete router fence.
If it is for a saw that you want the advanced fence, then the Incra LS-TS Table Saw fence (M-LS32-TS) is what you should look for. (There is also an M-LS52-LS, but we don't have that, as those rails are so long that we can't ship them without it costing a great deal.) The M-LS32-TS can saw 810mm wide. For which saws it fits you can see the info via this link from Incra's website. https://incra.com/info/TS-LS_FenceSystem_RouterTableCompatibility.pdf Below is a film that goes through all the functions of the LS Positioner and LS-TS. A very smart accessory is the Incra CleanSweep, a dust extraction box that you fit under the table. It suits router lifts and ordinary handheld routers. You complete it with plates on the top that let the air be drawn around the router bit. We now have plates adapted to Trend, ELU, Dewalt and Triton; get in touch about which version you need. Watch the video on YouTube We are also getting the router lift that Incra sells, which JessEm makes in Canada.
Keep in mind that it is made for special router motors. That is, not for handheld routers. There are, for example, Kreg's Precision Router Lift RL2.0K, which has the same plate size.
The next thing Incra is well known for is their Miter Gauge. We have all of them from the smallest V27 to the largest 3000SE. This group also includes the sleds and the tables, the 5000, Miter Express and Miter Gauge Combo. Below are videos of some of the models. For a complete set, see this page (https://incra.com/miter_gauges-specifications_chart.html). The next group of products is T-tracks and the things you use with them. Incra calls the group Build-it. The picture above shows their Incra Build-it Starter Kit. Here there are also their T-tracks, tracks with rules, as well as Miter Channels/Miter Sliders.

Another piece of news is grindstones from Sweden. Orsa Stenhuggeri makes, among other things, a number of grindstones and we now have them in the shop. The stone is about 150 grit. You use it with water or oil. If you want to sharpen like the Vikings probably did, these products are just right. A bit of history can be found here: Orsa Stenhuggeri
We wrote in the last letter that we would get a visit from a secret guest during the summer. Now we can reveal who it is. Christopher Schwarz from Lost Art Press will make a Nordic tour and land in Sweden and our shop on Saturday 8 July. Times and programme will come a little later. Check our Facebook for the latest info about this.
