It has really been flat out these past few weeks. We have sent out parcels on a scale never seen before. November doubled last year's number of orders, which was already a lot for us. December has continued at the same pace, and last week we had an all-time high for orders in a single week, around the number we usually get in a quiet summer month. According to the statistics at Unifaun/DHL, all parcels have arrived on time and most of you have collected your deliveries. Yesterday we sent the last stragglers, so we now only have "new" orders waiting. We will keep shipping on both Monday and Tuesday (21 and 22 December). Although we can't guarantee things will arrive before Christmas, it looks as though DHL is managing overnight deliveries to large parts of the country.
We have written about Unifaun's app before, but some of you may have missed it. It works very well and updates as soon as we book the shipment. If you don't have it, we think it is worth downloading. The app is called Mina paket and is available for both iPhone/iPad and Android.
In the next few days our first Kreg delivery arrives. We will update the website over the weekend so you can start ordering those items. We are also getting a large delivery from Flexcut, restocking all their "KN/JKN" knives, perfect for the dark winter months. If you haven't tried carving, you should; it is great fun. We are also restocking Hock plane blades, and WL Fuller is sending some new products. As usual, we update the products once we know the deliveries are "in Europe" and only a day or a few away. Other deliveries expected after the holidays are Lost Art Press, Narex and a few others.
Veritas is sending a couple of boxes that should arrive next week. It isn't much, but we are getting a pile of their winding sticks, as well as their small honing guide and a small layout block.
