Veritas large standard taper reamer, a simple, affordable one-piece reamer from 3/16" to 1-3/16". First-time Windsor chairmakers will find it indispensable for tapering leg sockets.
The reamer is 5-1/2" long overall with a 5/16" hex shank. The included angle of 12.8° matches the tenons made with the Veritas Tapered Tenon Cutters. Designed for use in an electric drill, it may also be used in a traditional brace with an adapter. A small reamer (3/16" to 3/4") is also available.
