On my latest visit to Lie-Nielsen in Maine I picked up the new honing guide. I chose to use it with my oil stones, as I plan to use them throughout the year to see how they perform. I also don't want to use the same honing guide for both oil and water stones; getting oil on your water stones is no fun. Admittedly, I will probably end up buying another guide from Lie-Nielsen. That's how it goes…
