Its versatility allows you to use it for a wide range of carving projects, from detail work to roughing. Use it to shave bark, or use its fine tip for eyes, noses, mouths, hair, facial details and accent parts on caricatures and animals.
The 2-7/8" blade is thick along its spine and the core is made of high carbon steel, which results in a very hard edge for superior edge retention. For added strength, the tang extends completely through the handle. There is no flex in the blade, which makes it sturdy and extremely reliable, and the rigidity and size of the blade allow for deep cuts and markings.
The handle is made of beautifully conditioned cherry hardwood, and each knife comes with a custom 100% leather sheath with a built-in belt clip. The sheath ensures long-lasting blade protection and makes for easy transport.
The blade is hand ground and polished, not machine stamped from a mold, so blade length may vary by up to 1/4".
