Milk paint is a traditional paint made from casein (milk protein), lime and natural pigments, used on furniture and interiors for centuries. It gives a flat, velvety finish and is particularly suited to bare wood, such as country furniture and reproductions. The paint comes as a powder and is mixed with water, 1 part powder to 1 part water. Pack size 1 pint (0.47 litre).
