Veritas simple, affordable one-piece standard taper reamer, small size for holes from 3/16" to 3/4". It is useful to rustic furniture makers for back-tapering holes for through-tenon wedging, as well as for general mortise tapering, and complements the Veritas pro taper reamer with an overlapping size range.
The reamer is 3 3/8" long overall with a 5/16" hex shank. The included angle of 12.8° matches the tenons made with the Veritas tapered tenon cutters. Designed for use in an electric drill, it may also be used in a traditional brace with an adapter.
