This Veritas hardware kit lets you build a wood-bodied smooth, jack or jointer plane with a Norris-style mechanism for easy depth and lateral adjustment. You customise the size and shape of the plane and get a practical tool for many years; you provide the wood. The kit includes a PM-V11 blade with a 25° bevel, a Norris-style adjuster with a steel cup to seat it in, plus a knob, tapped insert and cross pin for the lever cap, all in brass. Detailed instructions are included. An excellent project for beginners and experienced woodworkers.
