Easy Wood Tools wire burning kit for adding burn details to turning projects. The wire is held against the spinning work, and friction heat burns a dark line. When a wire wears out you just replace the wire, not the tool.
The kit includes two robust, sure-grip American maple handles and nine quickly replaceable wires in three lengths (6", 9" and 18") and three gauges in each length. The gauges are colour-coded so you know how wide the burn will be: .016 is red, .020 is white and .026 is blue. Replacement wire 3-packs are available.
