Hampshire Sheen pre-thinned cellulose sanding sealer. It penetrates deeply into the wood and gives a smooth surface after a few coats, over which your final finish adheres perfectly. Suitable for everyday, coloured and textured work.
It is the maker's preferred sealer over the Intrinsic Colour Collection and other water-based stains. It is common for a little of the colour to be lifted from the surface when using it.
How to apply:
Shake well before use
Sand and finish as normal, making sure the surface is dust free
Apply any water-based colour before the sealer and let it dry completely
Apply the sealer evenly with a paper towel or cloth and allow to dry thoroughly
Apply more coats until smooth, allowing to dry between coats
Lightly de-nib before applying the final finish
Facts:
500 ml cone-top bottle
Store cool and dry, 10-30 °C, protected from frost and direct sunlight
Lasts about 12 months after opening; thickens over time
Not tested for food contact
