Live centre with twin bearings and four interchangeable tips: traditional 60°, detail 90°, multi-tooth and pen turning. The body also works as a ring centre for long hole boring.
Universal live centre kit from the Record Power Coronet Falcon range. The body has two sealed-for-life bearings, and the tips fit precisely and are held by an O-ring. Tips are removed with the supplied knockout bar.
With no tip fitted, the body acts as a ring centre for long hole boring and accepts 8 mm (5/16") augers.
Traditional 60° tip: for spindle work and supporting bowls and vessels, and gives internal support to pre-bored work with holes of 1–43 mm.
Detail 90° tip: elongated tip for better access, for example when removing bowl bottoms and making small dowels. The wider angle reduces splitting of small work.
Multi-tooth tip: strong grip and accurate repositioning, pairs with the Coronet Hawk multi-tooth drive centres.
Pen turning tip: slides over the pen mandrel and bears against the spacers, so the mandrel does not bow and pen walls stay even.
