Multi-tooth drive centre from the Record Power Coronet Hawk range, with a ring of teeth around the edge and a central point. The many contact points give a very strong grip and minimise the risk of splitting. Tailstock pressure alone holds the blank, so there is no need to drive it in with a mallet. Work can be removed and accurately repositioned using the marks left by the point and teeth, and the teeth grip both halves of a paper-joint blank.
The 22 mm size is ideal for spindle work.
