Multi-tooth sprung point live centre from the Record Power Coronet Falcon range, made in Sheffield from high-alloy steel for a longer-lasting edge. The pin retracts under tailstock pressure and the ring of teeth holds the work with evenly spread pressure, which also reduces vibration. The pin cannot split the timber, so it suits small, delicate and laminated work.
The pin tension is adjustable and work can be removed and accurately repositioned. Paired with the Coronet Hawk multi-tooth drive centres it gives the safest grip on fragile work.
The 22 mm size is ideal for spindle work.
