Veritas Saddle Square. Transferring a line from one surface to a perpendicular surface with a small square is never easy.
Transferring a line from one surface to a perpendicular surface with a small square is never easy. The Veritas saddle square solves this by letting you scribe two perpendicular surfaces at a time, and lets you pick up a line already scribed and transfer it accurately to a perpendicular face. It is made of anodized aluminum with end faces machined square to within 1/4°.
This original patented square is 2" wide with 1-1/4" and 2-1/4" inside legs, and can be used to wrap a line around workpieces up to almost double this. A larger square is also available.
