Polished flutes give superior chip clearance, and the sharply defined lips have a slight negative rake at the tips to score the hole perimeter for clean entry and smooth sidewalls. The bits are also extremely accurate in diameter. Metric bits are ideal for drilling holes for bookcase fittings.
