Veritas bench rule, 450 mm, shaped much like a classic school ruler. This relatively narrow rule is lightweight and easy to handle, ideal for precise drawing and design tasks.
The fine laser-etched markings stand out clearly against the matte black anodized finish. It is graduated in millimetres, with one edge reading right to left and the other left to right.
Cut from a solid aluminium extrusion, the rule is 1 1/4" wide. To avoid parallax errors, the edges are tapered and lie within 0.01" of the surface, supported by small raised feet set back from each edge, so markings are not smudged. Made in Canada.
