Small Veritas layout square, 60 mm. Just as a speed square is an essential layout tool for carpenters and framers, this small square is similar in form and function but sized for laying out joinery and other common workshop tasks.
Measuring only 60 mm on the two shorter sides, it is compact and lightweight, fits in a pocket and is easy to handle for precise work on smaller workpieces. Once you are in the habit of using it, you may be surprised how often you reach for it instead of a larger square.
Machined from solid aluminum with a matte anodized surface, it is laser etched on both sides with metric markings in 1 mm increments and angles in 1° increments. Where the base meets the blade, the inside corners are relieved so the square seats well over saw whiskers.
