This jig simplifies setting up a new saw (or a different-width blade) for your existing track without replacing the strip. If you use more than one saw, you avoid needing a track for each, and if you upgrade your saw you avoid buying a new strip.
Clamp the jig to a stable surface and cut through its sacrificial fence with the saw originally paired with the track. The jig is now set to that saw's exact offset, serving as a reference for adjusting other saws to the same track. Clamp the next saw to the jig and adjust its blade offset flush to the trimmed fence (see your saw's manual). Once locked, both saws can be used interchangeably with the same track and accuracy.
Made in Canada from Baltic birch plywood with a maple fence and aluminium components.
