Record Power ProComfort 1/2" Dovetail Scraper

Dovetail scraper for creating a dovetailed recess or spigot in the work.
The profile is ground to 80°, matching the dovetail angle of Record Power chuck jaws for an accurate fit. One flat edge is used against the bottom of the bowl while the opposite cutting edge forms the recess or spigot.
Matches the outer dovetail profiles of jaws 62303 and 62302 (SC1/SC2) and 62321, 62313, 62322, 62323, 62329, 62317 and 62327 (SC3/SC4), and the inner dovetail profiles of 62322, 62329 and 62317.
The blade is high-speed steel (HSS), which holds its edge longer, and the handle is close-grained, stable and heavy beech.
The handle has the ProComfort profile for improved comfort and control, developed over three years with ergonomics experts at Sheffield Hallam University.
