Combined set of the Record Power ProComfort Ultimate spindle and bowl turning sets (103725 and 103726).
The ProComfort range has handles with a trilobe profile that supports a natural hand grip. They need much less gripping power than standard turning tool handles, so you can work longer without discomfort, and the profile gives feedback on tool orientation for better control.
The handles are the result of three years of research and development with ergonomics experts at Sheffield Hallam University. The tools are handmade in the Record Power factory in the UK and suit both experienced turners and beginners.
Supplied with: 3/8" (10 mm) bowl gouge, standard grind, for push and finishing cuts, 3/8" (10 mm) bowl gouge, hybrid grind, for deep pull cuts and easy to resharpen by hand, carbide-tipped round scraper with replaceable tip, also for acrylics and other materials, dovetail tool for turning tenon or recess grips for chuck jaws, 3/4" (19 mm) spindle roughing gouge, 3/8" (10 mm) spindle gouge, 3/4" (19 mm) skew chisel with rounded heel, 1/8" (3.2 mm) parting tool, 5/8" (16 mm) multi-tooth sprung point drive centre and 5/8" (16 mm) sprung point multi-tooth live centre with double bearings.
