Trend Lock Jig

Trend contractor lock jig with interchangeable templates, for use with a plunge router to cut the mortise and face-plate recess for popular door locks.

Features:
For most common sash mortise and dead locks, with up to 3" deep mortises and a 7/8" or 1" face-plate
Deeper mortises can be achieved with a suitable auger bit
Fast, clean and accurate results on doors 34 mm to 58 mm thick, even in hardwood
Steel plates and body

The jig requires:
A 1/2" plunge router with 80 mm plunge
A 30 mm guide bush with 6 mm spigot
A 12 mm long-reach cutter
An auger bit and drill for deep mortises

A 1/4" plunge router can be used for the face plate but will not achieve the full depth of mortise.
