Extremely useful for setting up machines such as jointers and planers, it is 1 3/4" high and 7/16" thick, and the reference edge is machined flat to within 0.003" over its entire length. It weighs just under 1 lb and has a hang hole. Available in four lengths.

Our straightedges should be straight within a very small tolerance, which is plenty for most woodworking tasks such as checking planed surfaces and plane soles.
If you need an even tighter tolerance, there are more expensive straightedges available, but that is reflected in the price.
