Drei Sterne oil marking chalk, blue, hexagonal, 120 × 11 mm, sharpened and paper-wrapped. Oil marking crayons contain a lot of oil and are very colourful, lightfast and weatherproof. They are particularly suitable for marking cold and hot iron and sheet metal, smoky metal, stone, cardboard, paper and jute, and especially good on damp and dry wood.
Use the chalk to mark your timber, both during preparation and when gluing. It is easy to apply and very easy to sand or wipe off without leaving marks. For rough marking it is better than a pencil, as graphite is hard to clean off and the chalk is more visible.
The chalk contains oil and should only be used on rough timber. For work close to finishing, use the non-oily marking chalk (AF-18). Available in white, red and blue.
