Left-handed carvers should choose a left-handed tool to cut towards themselves and a right-handed tool to cut away from themselves. Available in four profiles, right and left-handed.
The tool customers most often choose for cutting the groove for the bottom of a shrink pot is the Flexcut scorp. Scorps come in several models and sizes, for both right- and left-handed users, and as sets.
A narrow chisel bent at 90 degrees, which some people ask for for this job, is unfortunately not something we stock.
