Möbler människor: Carl Malmsten, Furniture Studies (book, Swedish)

Carl Malmsten is one of the great Swedish furniture designers, but he was also an energetic educator who started his own schools. One of them is now part of Linköping University and is located in newly built premises on Lidingö outside Stockholm. There, Malmsten's ideas on design, craftsmanship, sustainability and tacit knowledge are passed on to today's students. The programme is based on a cultural heritage placed in the present with a view to the future.

The book is written by cultural journalist Gunilla Kindstrand, who also captures the views of students and teachers through conversations and interviews. It is richly illustrated, often with unique images. In Swedish with an English summary.
