Diamond Paste

With diamond paste, you can strop to an exceptionally keen edge quickly and easily.

Simply make a strop from close-grained hardwood or MDF or use our steel honing plate, apply a few drops of paste, and use it as you would a sharpening stone.

Composed of monocrystalline diamond in a mineral oil base, the paste embeds in the surface, abrading quickly but lasting a long time.

Begin with the grit that corresponds to your finest stone and progress to finer paste: 6-micron following a fine stone, 3-micron after the 6-micron paste or an extra-fine stone, and the 1-micron to provide a mirror finish.
