The grooving section cannot be detached from the shank
Yes. The Trend T1 is a compact router that takes bits with shanks up to 8 mm. All Trend router bits and sets with 8 mm shanks therefore fit.
Bits with 1/2" (12.7 mm) or 12 mm shanks do not fit the T1; they need a larger router. If you have bits with 6 mm or 1/4" shanks, you need a collet in that size.
