Record Power PT107 10" × 7" Heavy Duty Planer Thicknesser, Spiral Cutter Block, Euro Plug

Heavy duty PT107 planer thicknesser with a helical cutter block. The block carries 44 TCT cutters in four rows with a convex profile that gives a shearing cut and a fine finish.
Compared with a traditional 3-knife block, the helical block needs less power, reduces noise by up to 50% and produces smaller chippings that extract more effectively. According to Record Power the cutters last 10–20 times longer than HSS knives and have four edges that can be rotated when blunt.
The cast iron infeed and outfeed tables adjust independently. The thicknessing table is supported by a central column and set with a large handwheel with scale. A clutch on the feed lets jams be cleared and the feed be disengaged.
Gull-wing tables and a one-piece swinging hood give a quick change to thicknessing. Extraction works in both modes, and the hood has a safety micro-switch. The fence tilts up to 45°.
Cutter block diameter 75 mm. Maximum planing width 265 mm, maximum depth of cut 3 mm planing and 2 mm thicknessing. Maximum thicknessing height 190 mm. Feed rate 5 m/min. Table length 1110 mm. Motor 2.2 kW input (P1), 1.69 kW output (P2). European plug.
