Record Power SC4 Companion Chuck, Body Only, Insert Thread

Many turners keep a dedicated chuck for their most used jaws to save time changing jaws. The Companion chuck is an assembled SC4 chuck body with jaw slides and eight hex socket head jaw fixing screws.
The enlarged jaw slides are heat-treated high tensile steel reinforced with nickel and copper, for high holding power and load capacity.
The jaw fixing system fits Record Power jaws and is compatible with Nova and Robert Sorby jaws.
Precision engineered gears (Super Geared True-Lock) give accuracy and smooth, solid operation.
Sealed backing plate that protects the gear mechanism from dust, with 72-point indexing around the full circumference.
Key operated, leaving one hand free.
Jaws and insert not included.
