Coronet Envoy with electronic variable speed 100–3800 rpm, reverse and a rotating, sliding headstock. Cast iron with integral legs, 610 mm between centres.
The Envoy is part of the Record Power Coronet range and is aimed at turners who regularly work on large pieces. It is a step up from the Coronet Herald and has heavy integral cast iron legs that reduce vibration when turning unbalanced timber.
The headstock rotates 360° and locks at 90° to the bed, and it slides along the bed, which also suits left-handed turners.
Self-ejecting tailstock for 2MT accessories, no knockout bar needed.
The control panel is held by a magnet and can be placed anywhere on the lathe.
Three-step pulley: the middle step for most work, the bottom step for maximum torque and the top step for the highest speeds. The belt position is visible through an inspection window.
Electronic variable speed and reverse, useful for sanding.
Large handwheel, heavy-duty spindle lock and 24-point indexing.
Tool rest with 1" stem that reduces vibration, and cam locks on the tool rest holder and tailstock.
Optional: bowl rest/outrigger and bed extension.
