Insert for the Veritas dowel maker for 9/16" and 5/8" (14.3 and 15.9 mm) dowels. The insert is anodized aluminum and the guide bushings are steel, a combination that withstands repeated passes of stock.
Two guide bushings are included: one in the nominal size, 5/8", and one 1/16" undersize, 9/16". The same square socket drive is used for both sizes.
The insert fits the Veritas basic dowel maker and the master dowel maker set.
Dowels: 9/16" and 5/8" (14.3 and 15.9 mm). Insert: anodized aluminum. Guide bushings: steel. Supplied with two guide bushings and a square socket drive.
