Insert for the Veritas dowel maker for 1/4" (6.4 mm) dowels. The insert is anodized aluminum and the guide bushing is steel, a combination that withstands repeated passes of stock.
The insert comes with a nominal-size guide bushing and a square socket drive. Unlike the larger inserts, there is no 1/16" undersize bushing, because a 3/16" dowel would be too thin for this process.
The insert fits the Veritas basic dowel maker and the master dowel maker set.
Dowels: 1/4" (6.4 mm). Insert: anodized aluminum. Guide bushing: steel. Supplied with one guide bushing and a square socket drive.
