The Bridge City KM-1 Kerfmaker makes it easy to cut very accurately sized dados, grooves and half lap joints. When joints are visible and part of the design, they must be perfect, and you need to make them efficiently.
The KM-1 is basically a highly accurate flip stop that you calibrate to the kerf of the blade (or dado set or router bit) and to the width of the piece being fitted into the groove. You set it for a slip fit or a friction fit by how tightly you set the workpiece calibration: flip the workpiece over with the KM-1 clamped on; if it stays in place it will be a tight fit, if it slips off it will be a slip fit.
The KM-1 works on table saws, router tables, chop saws, radial saws and the Jointmaker Pro. It is milled from solid aircraft-grade aluminum and anodized for durability and an attractive appearance.
