The precision-machined tool makes many unusual boring and fastening operations easy and accurate. Cheap bit extenders are made for work where run-out doesn't matter, but in woodworking an oversized hole is an ugly, gappy disaster.
The GoDrilla works like a router collet with two ends. Tightening the steel nuts, knurled with flats for wrenches, one end grabs a hex bar chucked in a drill and the other grabs 1/4" hex-shank tooling, such as a spade bit, screwdriver bit or countersink. The collet locks well by hand, and with two 1/2" wrenches the bond becomes unbreakable. Reach can be extended from 6" to 24", and the tool is repairable if the shaft ever gets bent.
