Veritas joinery table for the Festool Domino DF 500. The Domino is excellent for many joints but can be hard to register on narrow pieces. Mounted in this table, the table becomes the tool's reference face, making accurate, repeatable joinery straightforward on work that is hard to handle freehand. It is invaluable for rail and stile work, mitres and narrow frames, and places mortises precisely in mating locations on either side of the joint.
The slotted laminated Baltic birch top with integral 4" base gives a stable, ample clamping surface, and workpieces are secured with the included hold-downs. A fixed aluminium fence and a movable guide fence hold work at 45° or 90°, and an offset registration gauge lets you flip the fence for precise mortise alignment. User-made guide fences can be added for other angles. The two included 6 mm shims centre the mortise in 3/4" or 18 mm stock; a set of 2, 4 and 8 mm shims is available separately.
